I really enjoy listening to music.

I think it’s a great way to express a feeling or idea that might not necessarily be easy to explain in just words.  It’s also a great medium for creating a sense of place for people that aren’t in the actual place – filmmakers do this all the time to create a tone for a movie.

So basically, now that all that useless existential prologue-ing is out of the way – here’s the first of hopefully many playlists that I’ve created on Spotify attempting to capture a sense of Scotland for you guys back home.
